Fianna Fáil MEPs Liam Aylward MEP and Pat the Cope Gallagher MEP sought an urgent meeting today in Strasbourg with the Commissioner for Trade, Karel de Gucht to express their grave concerns about the re-opening of trade negotiations with Mercosur and to defend the position of Irish agriculture. Liam Aylward MEP hosted a meeting with Intel technology leaders from across Europe and the USA in the European Parliament today, Tuesday May 4th. Liam Aylward MEP is pictured with Justin Rattner, Chief Technology Officer for Intel and Martin Curley, Director of Intel Labs Europe and the other Irish MEPs in attendance. Liam Aylward MEP was delighted to lend his experience and knowledge to Belgium GAA club this week. The club launched its 2010 season at the European Parliament and Liam Aylward MEP was pleased to support its dedicated members.
